Full job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Digital Systems and Data Administrator will support the effective delivery of digital systems, data quality processes, and patient communication platforms across the practice working with the Practice Manager.

The role is responsible for supporting digital service improvement initiatives, assisting with system upgrades and changes, producing performance data reports, and ensuring accurate and timely data management to support patient care, contractual requirements, and operational efficiency.

The post holder will work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to maximise the use of digital solutions and support the delivery of high-quality patient services.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Systems Support

Support with practice system upgrades, developments, and digital changes.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of digital systems used across the practice.
Support online consultation systems, patient messaging platforms, and other digital patient access tools.

Data Quality and Reporting

Run regular data quality searches and reports to support service delivery and patient care.
Produce routine and ad hoc performance reports for management and clinical teams.
Assist with QOF, enhanced services, and contract data returns to ensure accurate reporting and achievement.
Support data validation and ensure accurate coding and recording within clinical systems.
Monitor and investigate data quality issues and support corrective actions where required.

Digital Patient Engagement

Assist with digital communication campaigns for patients including recalls, health promotion, and service updates.
Support NHS App promotion and encourage uptake of online services.
Assist with patient messaging campaigns using approved communication systems.

Service Improvement

Support service improvement projects using digital solutions to enhance efficiency and patient access.
Work with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvement and system development.
Assist with the development and implementation of protocols and processes relating to digital systems and data quality.

General Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR, NHS data protection, and Information Governance requirements at all times.
Work collaboratively with all members of the practice team.
Attend meetings and training as required.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
