Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Frame Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing high-quality furniture frames, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry, joinery, or related trades to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. Duties

Fabricate and assemble furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Measure and cut materials accurately according to technical drawings and specifications
Join components securely through techniques such as joinery, screwing, nailing, or gluing
Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce consistent quality products
Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure standards are met
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Assist with the installation of furniture components where required
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve technical issues promptly

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, carpentry, or joinery is highly desirable
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in furniture making
Strong understanding of assembly processes and construction techniques
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during shifts
Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, electrical work or construction painting is a plus but not essential
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
