We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working person to supervise and lead our teams of landscape gardeners. References from recent employers will be required. Previous experience of landscape gardening, of leading and motivating teams and a driving licence are essential. A PA1/PA6 licence would be beneficial.
Hourly wage rate will be dependent on experience.
Work is mainly concentrated within Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen and surrounding areas.
Tasks
- Supervise and motivate teams of landscape gardeners
- Support new members of staff and provide basic training if required
- Operate equipment e.g. ride on mower, lawnmower, strimmer, secateurs, lopper, edging iron, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, hand held applicator (pesticides), ladders. Apply pesticides and fertiliser. Sow grass seed, core lawns. Take out weeds and dead plants, trim overgrown limbs, hedges, shrubs and bushes. Plant flowers and shrubs.

- Ensure equipment is used correctly and safely
