Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Polisher - Bodyshop Technician - Car Detailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicle exteriors to their pristine condition through expert polishing and detailing techniques. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will ensure every vehicle leaves our shop looking flawless, delivering exceptional results that meet our high standards.

Duties

Perform polishing, buffing, and finishing work to restore vehicle paintwork to a smooth, glossy finish
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to prepare surfaces for polishing or detailing
Assist with minor body repairs and surface preparation as needed
Conduct heavy lifting of vehicles or parts safely during detailing or repair processes
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify areas requiring special attention or additional work
Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines during all procedures

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and bodywork processes
Experience with hand tools and power tools used in polishing and detailing tasks
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks consistently
Prior experience in auto body shops, detailing, or similar environments is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
