Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Art Framer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and assembling high-quality picture frames and display cases, ensuring they meet client specifications and aesthetic standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are highly valued. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and design.

Responsibilities

Fabricate customised picture frames .
Assemble framing components using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision to ensure high-quality finishes
Utilise skills as needed for specialised framing projects
Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during fabrication and assembly processes
Be proficiant in all aspects of mount cutting and glass handling
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
Collaborate with clients or team members to interpret design plans and provide expert advice on framing options

Qualification

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Prior experience in framing or related crafts will be expected
