Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi Skilled Tradesman/woman to join our dynamic team with minimum 2 years experience in bricklaying. This role involves undertaking a variety of construction and maintenance tasks across multiple trades, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry and electrical work. Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing, installing fixtures, and finishing work
- Perform roofing repairs and installations with attention to safety and quality standards
- Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes
- Install and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete applications
- Undertake electrical work including wiring, fitting outlets, and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively across different trades
- Fabricate components or structures as required for specific projects
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding or electrical work
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction trades
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are desirable but not essential depending on experience
This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a broad skill set who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across diverse projects.
General working hours will be 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with weekends off.
Successful candidates are required to complete an assessment day on bricklaying.
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
