Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a welcoming environment where organisational skills and a warm demeanour are highly valued.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Schedule appointments and manage the practice’s appointment calendar
Handle patient enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required
Process payments and organise billing procedures
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and stock management
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked
Support the dental team with administrative needs to facilitate smooth daily operations

Skills

Proven office experience, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in using office software programmes such as MS Office or dental practice management systems
Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
Administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
