Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Sales and Stockroom Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will drive our retail success! In this role, you’ll be the vital link between our stockroom operations and customer engagement, ensuring products are well-organized, readily available, and presented in an appealing manner. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your merchandising expertise while sharpening your communication and time management skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate stock levels by receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise efficiently within the stockroom.
Implement effective merchandising strategies to showcase products attractively and maximize sales potential.
Ensure the stockroom remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards through excellent organizational skills.
Assist customers with their inquiries, providing exceptional service and upselling opportunities to enhance sales.
Use phone etiquette to answer customer calls professionally, providing product information or directing inquiries appropriately.
Support the sales floor by quickly retrieving items from the stockroom to meet customer needs promptly.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional phone manner.
Basic math proficiency for inventory counting and record keeping.
Excellent organizational skills to manage stockroom layout and product displays effectively.
Demonstrated time management abilities to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
Experience or interest in upselling techniques to boost sales performance is a plus.
