Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in joinery, carpentry, kitchen fitting, with a strong focus on precision and quality. This role involves working on diverse projects, must have a good experience back ground on the residential side and able to talk to clients. Kitchen fitting is a must and have an eye to detail along with having the ability to reading drawings. Must have 5years plus experience within the trade.

Duties

Fabricate customised timber components according to detailed specifications
Assemble structures using hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment
Install joinery elements in various construction projects such as roofing and masonry works and high end finishings
Perform heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently
Conduct site measurements and ensure precise fitting of components
Maintain a clean and organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with other tradespeople including masons, electricians, and plumbers to complete projects on time
Inspect completed work for quality assurance before handover to clients

Qualifications

Proven experience in , carpentry, joinery or related trades
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment
Knowledge of roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting is desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications
Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are advantageous
