Trading Assistant - Shift

Rate: £13.23 per hour
Location: Straiton Store, Loanhead, EH20 9PW
Hours: Part time, 27:75 hours per week
Contract type: Fixed-Term Assignment

The below shift patterns are the times in the week we would like you to be available to work. Your weekly scheduled 3 weeks in advance within these times.
Late shift: 22:00 - 08:00
Night shift: 22:00 - 08:00
Monday: 22:00 - 08:00
Wednesday: 22:00 - 08:00
Thursday: 22:00 - 08:00
Friday: 22:00 - 08:00
Saturday: 22:00 - 08:00

As one of our Trading Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.

Eligibility:

The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and type of goods (alcohol, etc) that you may be required to handle.
You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK

What you’ll be doing:

Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping our shelves clean, tidy and full of well-presented products
Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
