Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in supervising teams across retail or sales environments. This role offers an opportunity to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with organisational prowess and leadership qualities who thrive in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
Organise daily schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure operational excellence
Provide training, coaching, and support to team members to foster professional growth
Maintain effective communication with staff and management regarding team progress, challenges, and opportunities
Oversee merchandising standards to ensure visual appeal and compliance with brand guidelines
Manage administrative tasks such as reporting, stock control, and maintaining accurate records
Handle customer queries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills
Motivate the team to meet organisational goals through effective leadership and time management strategies

Qualifications

Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within retail or sales environments
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards shared objectives
Excellent communication skills in both bilingual or multilingual contexts preferred
Demonstrable organisational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules, stock, and administrative duties
Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management advantageous
Ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service
Strong time management skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks efficiently
Previous experience in administrative roles demonstrating organisational competence and phone etiquette
Management or supervisory experience is essential; previous retail or sales management experience is highly desirable
