Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in dental nursing within a supportive environment. The role is paid and suitable for individuals looking to develop their skills in patient care, nursing, and dental procedures. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate organisational ability.

Duties

Assisting dentists during various dental procedures and treatments
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
Providing support to patients before, during, and after their appointments, ensuring their comfort and reassurance
Managing patient records accurately using IT systems
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment
Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence
Learning and adhering to infection control protocols and health regulations

Requirements

Genuine interest in patient care and dental nursing
Good command of English, both spoken and written
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Prior experience in nursing or healthcare is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
Ability to work as part of a team with a professional attitude towards learning and development
