A MORNING IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST CHEF AT OUR HOTEL

Prepare and cook a wide range of fresh breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard, ensuring every plate is presented with care and attention to detail.
Set up your workstation before service, ensuring all ingredients are prepared, equipment is ready, and food safety standards are met.
Monitor and replenish the breakfast buffet, keeping hot and cold items fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented throughout service.
Cook breakfast orders efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation.
Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP procedures at all times, ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Manage stock levels during service, reporting shortages and helping to minimise waste through effective food rotation and portion control.
Work closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure guests enjoy a seamless and memorable breakfast experience.
Assist with kitchen preparation for future services and support the team with general kitchen duties as required.

What we need from you:

Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar kitchen role.
A genuine passion for preparing high-quality breakfast dishes and delivering excellent guest experiences.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations.
A proactive and team-focused attitude, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to support colleagues.
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and presentation.
High standards of cleanliness and hygiene to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
