Job Introduction

We’re looking for a Retail Sales Advisor to join one of our vibrant, high-footfall London locations. If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, love a challenge, and are passionate about exceptional service, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, key trading days, and during our opening period. We require availability of a minimum of 2 days, with availability at the weekend and at least 1 weekday.

A Day in the Life of a Whittard Sales Advisor

In a busy London store, no two moments are the same. You’ll serve customers from around the world, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver confident, high-quality service with a calm and collected approach - even when it’s three deep at the till.

You’ll be:

Customer-Obsessed: Whether it’s a rushed commuter or a curious tourist, you’ll quickly connect with every customer, offering tastings, tailored advice, and a standout experience under pressure.
Sales-Savvy: You’ll confidently guide customers through our range, suggesting pairings and bundles that elevate their visit and increase basket size.
Resilient & Responsive: You’ll stay focused and adaptable during high-traffic times, knowing how to balance tills, restocks, and sampling with a sense of urgency and care.
A True Team Player: You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a close-knit team, keeping communication clear, energy high, and standards exceptional throughout your shift.
Operationally Efficient: From slick stock replenishment to sharp visual standards, you’ll help ensure the store looks great and runs like clockwork.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

We’re looking for someone confident, customer-focused, and ready to thrive in a fast-moving retail setting.

You’ll need:

Experience in a high-volume customer-facing role (retail, hospitality or similar)
Great communication skills and a friendly, unflappable manner
Comfort working at pace while still providing thoughtful, tailored service
Confidence handling cash, stock, and till operations
Flexibility to work a range of shifts - including weekends and key London trading days
Multilingual skills or tourism experience are a bonus in this globally visited location!
