Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Barista/All Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within our vibrant café environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality (Latte art skills is a MUST).
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and processing payments using the POS system.
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods by prioritising duties such as serving customers, preparing drinks, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.
- Support team members with general duties as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.
Skills
- Previous barista experience is preferred; further training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure hygienic practices are maintained at all times.
- Experience in serving customers with friendly professionalism.
- Ability to assist with food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods without compromising service quality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
