Full job description

We are looking for two proactive and organised interns to support our PR team during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role offering valuable experience in media, events, and public relations.

What we offer:

Travel within Edinburgh covered
Mobile phone costs covered for the duration of the placement (receipts and phone bill required)
£500 payment at the end of the internship
Additional perks including drinks, exclusive party invitations, and a hosted dinner with media in the final week

Key responsibilities:

Managing ticket bookings
Compiling and organising press cuttings into press packs
Supporting promotional activities with clients
Attending shows with media representatives
Assisting with media relations
Monitoring and sourcing online reviews
Supporting social media activity
General administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

Must be currently based in Edinburgh
Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Good knowledge of social media platforms
Willingness to be flexible and take initiative
Must bring your own laptop
Must have a personal email account for work use
Must have a mobile phone

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic festival environment while building connections in media and entertainment.
