Internal Technical Sales Executive

Walthamstow
£31,000 – £34,000 + Significant Annual Profit Share Bonus
Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday | Office-Based

A successful specialist distributor in Walthamstow is looking for an Internal Technical Sales Executive to join its established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems and learning technical products. You’ll receive full product training, work within a supportive team and have the opportunity to build a long-term career within a stable and profitable business.

The Role

As an Internal Technical Sales Executive, you’ll spend the majority of your time speaking with trade customers by phone and email, helping with technical enquiries, preparing quotations and sourcing the right products.

The role is varied and will include:

Handling customer enquiries by phone and email
Preparing and following up quotations
Building relationships with new and existing customers
Advising customers on technical products and spare parts
Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers
Sourcing products and coordinating urgent deliveries
Supporting customers at the trade counter
Assisting the wider team when required

The business supplies commercial heating, boiler plant, controls and specialist HVAC products to contractors, engineers and other trade customers across London and the South East.

About You

Previous experience within commercial heating or HVAC would be useful, but it isn’t essential.

You could have experience within:

Internal sales
Trade counter sales
Customer service
Plumbing or heating
Electrical distribution
Engineering
Technical or industrial distribution

More importantly, you’ll be practical, comfortable dealing with customers and keen to learn.

You should have:

Strong communication and customer service skills
A practical or mechanically minded approach
Good organisation and attention to detail
A positive and hardworking attitude
The willingness to learn technical products
The ability to commute reliably to Walthamstow
