The Role
As a Weekend Shift Supervisor, you’ll support the Production Manager in ensuring production targets are achieved through effective leadership, planning, and coordination of resources across the shift. You’ll lead and motivate the team to deliver operational performance while maintaining quality, safety, and customer standards.
You’ll take ownership of planning and prioritising workloads, coordinating production activities, overseeing batch processing and quality requirements, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining a safe working environment, monitoring operational performance, and supporting the smooth running of the site.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Engineering or process experience within the aerospace/aircraft industry
Previous experience leading teams within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and practical approach
Good computer literacy and confidence using operational systems
Strong communication and organisational skills
Good numerical skills and attention to detail
A strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
First Aid certification essential
FLT and Fire Marshall certification desirable

Location & Work Pattern
This role is based onsite in Derby and involves rotating weekend shifts of Saturday & Sunday 6:00am–6:00pm and 6:00pm–6:00am, with a 50% shift premium applied.
