Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible part time Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The hours are Tuesday-Friday 1-6pm. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice and enhancing patient experience.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations effectively.
Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
Process patient prescription requests
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care and communication.

Skills

Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
Strong administrative experience, demonstrating proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Computer literacy, good keyboard skills
Ability to maintain a calm demeanour in a fast-paced environment while managing patient needs effectively.
