Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food, culinary excellence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Chef de Partie will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety protocols are adhered to, and supporting the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish stations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available.
Supervise junior kitchen staff during service periods, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands without compromising quality.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
Experience in meal preparation across various cuisines is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times.
Previous experience serving or working closely with front-of-house staff is advantageous.
Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates with substantial experience.
