Full job description

Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document and report any changes in individuals' condition or behavior

Experience:

- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and ability to lift and move individuals as needed
- Familiarity with dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with dementia
- Experience working with individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities is a plus
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
