Job Description

We are currently looking to hire on a permanent basis an experienced Furniture maker/ Wood specialist based in Leicester.

We are a busy point of sale manufacturer who specialises in retail. We are looking for a person to run our in-house joinery manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for providing the highest standard of bespoke joinery ensuring the furniture you produce matches the vision of our client’s expectations.

Requirements include:

Using various types of tools and wood machinery
Operating, Routers, Edgebander, Planers, table Saw machines
Working as an individual or as part of a team
Proficient in the safe use of bench joinery machines.
Experienced in edge banding machinery preferred
Capable of wet spraying preferred
CNC capable preferred

The Person:

Experience operating CNC machinery joinery
Multiple wood types product experience
Expert in creating quality products
Working from 2D/3D CAD specifications and diagrams and interpret visual instructions.
Hardworking and takes responsibility in making sure deadlines are met.
