Full job description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Café Supervisor to join our team full-time.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid customer service experience who is ready to take the next step in a supportive, community-focused environment.

For the right candidate, there will be opportunities for development within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Lead and support the team, setting a positive example and maintaining high standards
Deliver excellent customer service to a diverse range of customers
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards
Assist with stock management and ordering

Essential Requirements:

Previous customer service experience is essential
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative
Friendly, approachable, and welcoming manner

Desirable Skills:

Supervisory experience
Confidence working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

You’ll be someone who takes pride in creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Our café serves a wide range of customers, including different age groups and vulnerable members of the community, so empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills are key.
