Kitchen Porter

Full Time & Part Time Available
We are looking for hardworking Kitchen Porters to join our growing team. Working alongside our current kitchen team and under the leadership of the Head Chef, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring organisation and cleanliness.
Your main duties will include:
- Washing and sanitising dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces and equipment
- Assisting with the organised storage of deliveries
- Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required
The Person:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction from the Head Chef and kitchen team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Positive attitude towards work and your team.
Rate of pay starting from £12.80 an hour depending on experience.
Food is provided on shift, and you will receive equal share of tips.
Due to the rural location of the Cawdor Tavern, your own transport will be essential.
You should have the right to work in the UK.
