We are looking for a passionate and resilient Inclusion Lead to champion inclusion and support students to achieve their full potential. You will have excellent behaviour management skills, build positive relationships with students, families and agencies, and lead innovative pastoral interventions. Join us to make a lasting difference.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the needs of identified pupils/groups of pupils contributing to more effective learning through improved behaviour and social skills.
To be an integral part of the pastoral team which include Heads of Year, SENDCO, Vocational educational leads, and Safeguarding Leads.
Conduct restorative work providing social skills and behavioural support for pupils who find particular areas of education challenging.
There is a confidentiality component to this role and the post holder needs to hold the trust and confidence of the pupils, parents/carers and teachers. It may acquire information on child protection/family sensitive issues which must be treated carefully and appropriately.

Pay range:

SCP 30 - 35 £35,864.33 - £40,582.98 (FTE: £40,777.00 - £46,142.00)

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Permanent

Qualifications and Skills:

GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent
Effective behaviour management skills; able to coach others to develop their skills in this area.
Understanding of innovative and creative strategies that enable children to make excellent progress.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
