Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver/Mate to join our skilled team. This role involves assisting qualified electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical solar systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a genuine interest in developing their electrical skills within a professional environment. This position offers valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow within the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

Assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support electrical tasks.
Preparing work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment as required.
Carrying out basic wiring tasks under supervision, including connecting conduits and fixtures.
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Maintaining clean and organised workspaces to promote safety and efficiency.
Supporting the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing routine inspections.

Skills

Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc. is essential.
Familiarity with power tools used in electrical work, including drills, saws, and testers.
Prior electrical experience or training is highly desirable; candidates with a strong interest in developing their electrical skills are encouraged to apply.
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail to ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.

Pay: From £150.00 per day
