We are working with some of the biggest names in sport, helping clubs, governing bodies and rights holders improve fan engagement, grow revenues and make better decisions through data.
As our client base continues to grow, we are looking for a CRM and Email Marketing Executive to support the delivery of fan engagement programmes across a portfolio of clients.
The Role
This is a hands-on role focused on the delivery, optimisation and reporting of email marketing campaigns.
Working alongside our Client Leads and consultants, you will be responsible for building campaigns, creating audience segments, importing data, monitoring performance and helping clients achieve better results from their customer communications.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 2-4 years' experience in email marketing who enjoys working with data and wants to develop their expertise in CRM, marketing automation and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery
- Build, test and deploy email campaigns across multiple client accounts.
- Manage campaign schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Carry out quality assurance checks on all communications.
- Ensure campaigns follow email marketing best practice and client requirements.
- Troubleshoot campaign issues when required.
Audience Segmentation
- Create and maintain audience segments using customer data.
- Build segment conditions based on demographic, behavioural and transactional criteria.
- Support the delivery of personalised and targeted communications.
- Work with client requirements to identify the appropriate audiences for each campaign.
Data Management
- Import and validate customer data into CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Support data cleansing and audience management activities.
- Ensure data is accurately formatted and processed.
- Work with colleagues to maintain data quality standards.
- Understand and follow GDPR and consent management requirements.
Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor campaign performance and produce regular reports.
- Analyse key campaign metrics.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support A/B testing and campaign optimisation activities.
- Understand how to use UTM links.
- Provide clear summaries of campaign results and recommendations.
Marketing Automation
- Support the build and maintenance of automated customer journeys.
- Assist with welcome programmes, nurture campaigns, re-engagement campaigns and lifecycle communications.
- Monitor automation performance and identify issues.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- 2+ years' experience in email marketing, CRM marketing or marketing automation.
- Experience using email marketing platforms such as Dotdigital, Bloomreach, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp or similar.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practice.
- Experience creating audience segments and segment conditions.
- Experience importing and managing customer data.
- Ability to interpret campaign performance metrics.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Confident working with data and spreadsheets.
- Excellent written communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience working within ecommerce, entertainment, membership organisations or events.
- Experience with marketing automation journeys.
- Experience using CRM and email marketing software.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Good excel skills.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
