Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscaper to join our team, specialising in comprehensive hard landscaping and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture, gardening, and the operation of various power and mechanical tools. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse outdoor projects, ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of our clients’ landscapes. Applicants should be passionate about outdoor environments and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal.
Operate a range of power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely.
Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and other landscaping tasks.
Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance to optimise water efficiency.
Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for larger construction or landscaping projects.
Assist with construction activities including the installation of features like patios, pathways, walls, and water features.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscape designs that meet client specifications.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance and construction work.
Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, irrigation systems, and heavy machinery such as excavators.
Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening and landscaping tasks.
Strong understanding of horticulture principles, gardening techniques, and general plant care.
Ability to operate construction equipment safely and effectively.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Physical fitness to undertake manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or landscaping are desirable but not essential.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites. This role provides an excellent platform for individuals passionate about outdoor environments to develop their skills further within a professional setting dedicated to quality landscape craftsmanship.
