ALDERFEST! The Ultimate Family Festival in Shropshire!
Come and join the fun at AlderFest, an annual music festival held in the picturesque town of Alderwood. The festival is a celebration of music, art, and culture, and attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world.
What would I be doing?
We have loads of tasks for you to choose from:
- Stall set up/pack down depending on shift times
- Speaking to the festival goers and collecting donations
- Wearing Hearty our wonderful mascot
- Selling raffle tickets
Helping manage our interactive challenges

What skills and experience do I need?
No specific skills or experience required for this role, just a big smile and confidence in speaking to people.
When:
Friday 4th July & Saturday 5th July 2025. Shift times to choose from below:
Friday 4th July - 2pm – 6pm
Friday 4th July - 6pm – 11pm
Saturday 5th July – 10am – 2pm
Saturday 5th July – 2pm -6pm
Saturday 5th July – 6pm – 11pm
Where: Alderford Lake, Tilstock Rd, Whitchurch SY13 3JQ

The BHF is committed to ensuring that you have an enjoyable and worthwhile experience and feel confident, safe and supported in your role. We will provide role specific information which may involve a virtual briefing session depending on the size of the opportunity and are always on hand for additional support. Expenses
The BHF is committed to ensuring that no volunteer is out of pocket because of expenses incurred whilst carrying out their role.
