Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care across a variety of settings, including clinics, nursing homes, and community health environments. This role offers an opportunity to utilise clinical expertise while contributing to patient well-being through diverse healthcare services. The position is salaried, ensuring consistent employment and professional development opportunities. The ideal applicant will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Salary will depend on experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient consultations, assessments, and examinations to diagnose medical conditions accurately.
Develop personalised treatment plans and manage ongoing patient care effectively.
Administer medications and oversee medication management in accordance with best practices and regulations.
Perform or supervise medical imaging procedures as required for diagnostic purposes.
Engage in clinical research initiatives to support evidence-based practice improvements.
Provide specialised care in areas such as ICU, hospice, senior care, or home care settings as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with medical advancements and public health policies.

Requirements

Fully qualified GP with registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Proven experience in patient care across diverse environments such as nursing homes, hospice, or home care settings is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and clinical procedures.
Experience or interest in specialised fields such as ICU, public health, or medical imaging is advantageous.
Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and public health initiatives.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently.
Compassionate approach with outstanding communication skills tailored to diverse patient populations.
