Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Level 2 qualified swimming teacher to join our dynamic aquatic team. In this role, you will deliver engaging swimming lessons that inspire confidence and skill development among learners of all ages and abilities. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a safe, fun, and motivating environment where students can thrive in their swimming journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals’ aquatic skills while advancing your teaching career.

Duties

Plan and deliver high-quality swimming lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners, ensuring clear progression pathways.
Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and safety skills, encouraging students to achieve their personal goals.
Maintain a safe environment by enforcing pool rules, supervising students at all times, and responding promptly to emergencies.
Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly.
Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that motivates learners to enjoy their time in the water and build confidence.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and participate in team meetings for continuous improvement.
Keep accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and any incidents or concerns related to student safety.

Requirements

Hold a valid Level 2 swimming teaching qualification.
Demonstrate previous experience teaching swimming.
Possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with learners of all ages and backgrounds.
Show enthusiasm for teaching swimming and promoting water safety awareness.
Must have up to date DBS and safeguarding certification in place.
A positive attitude with a commitment to creating an enjoyable learning experience for all students.
