Full job description

Due to continuous expansion IMES International Ltd are looking for a Lifting Equipment / Wire Rope Inspector, based local to our Ellon facility. Forming part of our ad-hoc inspection team, you will take a lead role on LOLER inspection and wire rope integrity surveys across the UK, offshore, and internationally, consisting of site, vessel and platform locations.

You will be required to carry out thorough examinations, load testing and NDT on all aspects of lifting equipment including dive systems, cranes, and lifeboat davit systems. You will also be involved with wire rope spooling operations consisting of new installs and integrity scopes of work. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to work in a varied, busy and hands on environment.

Previous experience and knowledge of wire rope integrity, dive system inspection, cranes, lifting equipment, and lifeboat davit systems is essential;
LOLER Inspection experience is essential;
Rope access Level I or II is essential;
LEEA qualifications required;
Wire rope Magnetic rope testing (MRT) is desirable;
Spooling and socketing experience is desirable;
MPI/DPI, desirable;
Offshore BOSIET and medical desirable;
Strong report writing skills;
Current valid driving licence.
