Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Pressure Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our rigorous testing and assembly. This position requires a strong understanding of PR2 testing qualifications, quality assurance processes, as well as the ability to analyse data effectively.

Duties

Conduct thorough pressure testing of products to ensure compliance with customer procedure, quality standards and QHSE regulations.
Carry out gas testing / hydro testing up to 60,000 psi, hyperbaric testing and PR2 testing.
Assemble customer equipment in line with engineering instruction.
Carry out plant & equipment maintenance in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule.
Fault finding and rectification of mechanical equipment.
Carry out break-down maintenance as required.
Perform MP & HP coning / threading applications / Small bore tubing (Pipe bending).
Torquing / bolting knowledge advantageous.
Perform detailed analysis of test results and document findings accurately.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Assist in the development and refinement of testing procedures to enhance efficiency.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.

Experience

Demonstrable experience of PR2 testing qualifications / fluid power / hydraulic / pneumatic technology and associated testing regimes
Demonstrable experience of hydrostatic, pneumatic, gas and cryogenic, high temperature testing.
Knowledge of electronic instrumentation, transducers, flow meters & Computer aided data collection.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
