Full job description

As part of a well-established dealer group, we pride ourselves on providing an award winning customer experience of the highest standards. This includes delivering customers' vehicles to their door.

We are looking to recruit CPC Drivers to help with vehicle deliveries from our Ransomes Europark dealership in Ipswich.

The ideal candidate will have a full driving licence with a minimum of C1+E licence entitlement and a Driver CPC Card essential. This licence category allows you to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle towing a trailer that exceeds 750kgs. (Total train weight of vehicle and trailer not exceeding 8250kgs). Our delivery vehicles are brand-new Ford Transit single vehicle trucks, towing single vehicle tri-axle trailers, and do not exceed this limit.

The role will involve the delivery of vehicles to our customers, both locally and nationwide. Candidates will need to become conversant with all aspects of delivered vehicles' controls and functionality, and be able to relay this information effectively to customers when handing vehicles over. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate professionally at all levels is crucial to deliver the service our customers expect, and candidates will need to be able to work well under their own initiative to pre-set deadlines.

Candidates must be flexible as working patterns are well planned but hours vary between early starts and late finishes.

Full-time hours are typically 45pw Monday to Friday. Saturdays on a rota basis, with a day off in lieu given during the week. Alternatively, we can offer part-time or flexible 'As & When' contracts.

Salary £15.00 per hour
