What will your day look like?
As a Grounds Maintenance Technician for the Grounds Maintenance Service, you will be working borough wide across land that is under the responsibility of North East Lincolnshire Council. You will be working with a small team to deliver the watering/maintenance programme for the newly planted trees within North East Lincolnshire. The post holder will also be part of the other teams within Grounds Maintenance to deliver, the list is not exhaustive, grass cutting, weed control, hedge cutting, bed maintenance etc. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 15.30pm and Friday, 7.30am to 15.00am.
Who are we looking for?
The right candidates will be committed to working as part of a small team as well as the larger Grounds Maintenance teams. You love to work outside in all weathers and are keen to learn new skills. You have experience in a front-line customer service role and want to make a difference to the community.
If you bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing an excellent service to the community, you’ll be a great fit for our team.
