Street Works Coordinator

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Street Works Coordinator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing street works permits, supporting civil engineering operations, tracking job progress, and ensuring all works are completed in line with client and local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply for, manage and monitor street works permits through the relevant permitting systems.
* Coordinate planned civils works and ensure all permits and notices are submitted within required timescales.
* Track and monitor the progress of civils jobs from start to completion.
* Liaise with local authorities, clients, site teams and subcontractors regarding planned works.
* Raise and process SPOS (Purchase Orders) accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of permits, notices, job updates and completion reports.
* Ensure compliance with NRSWA requirements and local authority regulations.
* Monitor permit conditions and assist operational teams in avoiding permit breaches.
* Support scheduling and resource planning for civils projects.
* Produce reports and provide updates to management on job status and permit performance.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Street Works Coordinator, Permit Coordinator, Civils Coordinator or similar role.
* Good understanding of NRSWA legislation and street works permitting processes.
* Experience using permitting systems such as Street Manager.
* Strong administration and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Competent with Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
* NRSWA qualification.
* Experience within telecoms, utilities, highways or civil engineering sectors.
* Knowledge of purchase order and job management systems.
