Mobile Orthodontic Unit Driver – Cat C1 (7.5 Tonne)
Location: Based in Winchester, Hampshire, with regular travel to schools across Hampshire and the wider South of England
Pay: £13.00–£17.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Flexible options: Term-time-only and ad hoc hours may also be available
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and professional Category C1 (7.5 tonne) Driver to join our mobile orthodontic team based in Winchester.
We operate a purpose-built mobile orthodontic unit which travels to schools across Hampshire and the wider South of England, providing orthodontic care to children and young people within their school environment.
The main part of your role will be driving the 7.5 tonne mobile unit safely between locations, positioning it at schools and helping with the set-up and close-down of the clinic.
When the unit is not on the road, we are looking for someone who is happy to get involved and support the team with general practical and administrative tasks. This could include helping with set-up, keeping the unit clean and organised, moving supplies, assisting with paperwork and helping the clinical team with the smooth running of the day.
No dental experience is required. This role could suit an experienced driver who is happy to remain primarily in a driving role while helping the team when the unit is not on the road. Equally, it could be a great opportunity for someone looking to explore a career in healthcare, dentistry or administration, with the potential to develop new skills and progress into a longer-term career within the business.
Training can be provided for anyone interested in developing towards dental nursing, although this is not a requirement of the role.

- Comfortable working around children and young people.
- Physically able to assist with setting up and moving equipment and supplies.

Previous delivery or multi-drop experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
