Full job description

Growing property business seeking an experienced self-employed Property & Tenant Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a portfolio of HMOs and residential properties across Preston and Ormskirk.

The successful applicant will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the portfolio, ensuring properties remain well managed, occupied and operating efficiently.

The role is focused on maintaining high occupancy levels, providing excellent tenant management and supporting the continued growth of the portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

Managing new tenant onboarding
Coordinating with existing tenants
Conducting viewings
Managing property advertising and room availability
Referencing applicants
Move-ins and check-outs
Property inspections
Coordinating maintenance
Coordinating compliance requirements
General portfolio management and administration

This is a flexible self-employed role suited to someone with property, lettings, HMO or estate agency experience who can work independently, take ownership of the portfolio and grow with the business.

Remuneration is linked to portfolio performance and rental income collected, providing the opportunity to benefit from portfolio growth.

Essential:

Based within reasonable travelling distance of Preston and Ormskirk
Proven experience in property management, lettings, estate agency or a related role
Strong administrative and organisational skills with good attention to detail
Confident using digital systems and undertaking accurate data entry
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally by telephone, email and written correspondence
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Own laptop
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to prioritise workload and make decisions independently
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

Knowledge of UK tenancy legislation and health and safety requirements
Experience managing HMOs
Familiarity with Apple services such as iCloud, Calendar and Numbers would be beneficial
Experience using cloud-based software and digital document management systems
