Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipework and plumbing systems on construction and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, a good understanding of site safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping and plumbing systems.
- Read and work from drawings, schematics, and technical plans.
- Carry out MIG, TIG, and other welding tasks as required.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment safely and effectively.
- Install plumbing fixtures, fittings, and mechanical components.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in pipework and plumbing systems.
- Complete maintenance work to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures and industry standards.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or Pipefitter.
- Previous construction site experience is essential.
- Valid CSCS Card required.
- Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, soldering, and pipe installation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Good understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
- Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and basic maths skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
