Full job description

Housekeeping/Front of house Supervisor required to work at The Regent Aparthotel in central Cambridge. We are a 22 bed aparthotel located on Regent street.

£13.10 p/h
Wednesday–Sunday, 6:30am–2:30pm, 37.5 hours per week (including a 30-minute unpaid break per shift)
5 days per week
Uniform provided
Rotas given 1 month in advance
Accrued annual leave (additional for long service)

The Housekeeping Supervisor is to work alongside the housekeeping manager and be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the aparthotel, starting some shifts with lone-working responsibilities for continental breakfast and front-desk guest checkout services, followed by supervising and organizing the cleaning team to ensure all rooms are prepared to high standards by check-in time.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Morning Lone Working (6:30 am - 9:00 am): Set up and oversee the continental breakfast area for guests. You will begin your shift at 6.30am and have set days each week Wednesday-Sunday.

Guest Services: Assist with guest check-outs, managing departures during the early morning shift.

Supervision: Manage the housekeeping team from 9 am, distributing room cleaning lists and prioritizing urgent check-ins.

Quality Control: Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.

Hands-on Cleaning: Perform housekeeping duties as needed, especially in high-priority or public areas.

Other job duties to be discussed during interview.

Previous supervisor or housekeeping experience is preferred. Apply now and we hope to welcome you soon.
