Freelance Content Admin & Marketing AssistantPart-Time Freelance Role
Remote with occasional on-site shoots - ideally based in the Cambridgeshire area
Approx. 10–15 hours per week initially
Plugged In Media is a growing marketing and media business working across automotive, events and digital brands. Following several new client and contract wins, we’re looking to bring on a freelance Content Admin & Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our content and marketing activity.
This is a varied hands-on role ideal for a junior marketer, recent graduate or someone looking to gain more experience working across real-world campaigns, social media and digital content.
You’ll be helping manage content, social scheduling, newsletters, reporting and community management, while also assisting on occasional video and photo shoots.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and publishing social media content across multiple platforms
- Assisting on video and photo shoots when required
- Creating and scheduling newsletters in Mailchimp
- Producing monthly social and marketing reports
- Monitoring inboxes and managing community engagement across social platforms
- Responding to comments, DMs and customer enquiries
- Helping organise content assets and general marketing admin tasks
Requirements
- Good understanding of social media platforms
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Experience using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Canva or similar
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Comfortable working across multiple brands and projects
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and content creation
Bonus Skills
- Experience editing short-form video content
- Photography or videography knowledge
- Interest in automotive, events or media industries
The Role
- Freelance/contractor basis
- Flexible remote working
- Approx. 10–15 hours per week initially
- Around £1,000 per month depending on experience
- Opportunity for the role to grow into a larger part-time or full-time position as the business continues to expand
