Overview
We are seeking a versatile and dependable General Skilled Labourer/Worker to join our construction team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hands-on work and a variety of trades. The successful candidate will contribute to diverse projects, ensuring high standards of safety and quality across all tasks. Previous experience in construction-related fields is preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Duties

Assisting with carpentry, roofing, and masonry tasks on-site
Supporting construction painting, plumbing, and electrical installations
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Performing fabrication work as required, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
Assisting with the installation and repair of structural elements
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety
Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
Adhering to all health and safety regulations throughout the duration of each project

Skills

Proven experience or familiarity with carpentry, roofing, or masonry work
Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous
Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and screwdrivers
Experience with power tools including grinders, sanders, and drills
Ability to operate fabrication equipment and perform basic metal or wood fabrication tasks
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical fitness to handle manual labour tasks over extended periods
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
