Guinness Property provides repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure that our residents’ homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.
About the role
We are looking for a Roofers Mate to join our South-Coast team, delivering high quality roofing repairs and remedial works.
This is a permanent role, working 39 hours per week.
To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the Havant area and be able to meet at a designated meeting point each day.
A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
Essential requirements of the role
You must be able to demonstrate competence carrying out minor roofing repairs (such as guttering, slate replacement, and minor leak fixes)- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment with a consistent track record of delivering high quality service
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information
- Physically capable of manual work, including lifting, in line with Health and Safety guidelines
- Confident working safely at height and in varying environmental conditions
- Strong commitment to safe working practices
- Demonstrates positive behaviours and a team-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence
Desirable
Experience within social housing- Relevant qualifications such as Level II NVQ or PASMA
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
