A weekend role with Vets Now allows you to further your ECC knowledge, whilst gaining a second income or balancing family commitments. You can work as little as two shifts per month, our current available hours are listed below.
Working hours:
Week 1: Off
Week 2, 3 and 4 – Sunday from 09:00 to 18:00
Understanding your key role
Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:
- First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
- Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
- Diagnostics – confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.
Key requirements
- RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
- Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
- Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
- Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
