Full job description

Overview

In this customer-focused B2B role, you’ll be responsible for the administration of major national accounts as well as uncovering new business opportunities and nurturing strong relationships with existing customers.

As a business we operate through most retail and distribution channels. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, flexible and sales focused individual keen to support our UK Sales team and take direct ownership of developing current and potential new Accounts.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Checking and processing customer orders ranging from large National Accounts to independent bricks and mortar stores, online retailers, entertainment venues and distributors, ensuring they align with agreed trading terms.
Acting as a liaison between customers, colleagues and our third-party warehouse on logistical matters, responding to queries and identifying potential solutions (e.g. for stock shortages, deliveries, invoicing).
Working directly with customer purchase departments and through our new “order portal” including updating of process and documents including pricing.
Preparing tailored sales/account development proposals and presentations
Facilitating and conducting meetings with current and potential accounts to explore potential growth/development opportunities (whether by video or in person).
Arranging and conducting walk-rounds of our own retail store near Covent Garden (below our offices) which acts as a showroom for current and potential Wholesale customers.
Visiting current/potential customer stores to explore growth /cross selling/upselling opportunities (located across the UK).
Answering/resolving incoming Customer/Account queries by phone and email.

Key skills / experience:

An excellent communicator - confident, clear, and customer-focused in every interaction whether in-person, on the telephone, via video meetings or via email.
A collaborative and can-do attitude
Commercial awareness
Attention to detail with exceptional administrative, organisational, and demonstrable problem-solving abilities.
Ability and willingness to juggle shifting priorities.
Strong IT skills (Excel, Google Sheets, in-house Sales Portal).
Previous experience in sales support / admin, direct sales, account management, or similar.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
