Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee and manage civil engineering projects on-site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to contribute to significant infrastructure projects while developing their career within a dynamic organisation. This specific project is a high profile stadium build project in Luton Town Centre. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Duties

Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and work schedules to facilitate smooth project execution.
Resolve technical issues that arise during construction by liaising with design teams and contractors.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, inspection logs, and incident reports.
Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction phases to optimise resource utilisation.
Ensure environmental standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Qualification in Civil Engineering and CSCS Card.
Proven experience working as a Site Engineer within civil construction projects.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and health & safety regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools is desirable.
Valid driving licence is preferred for site visits and supervision purposes. This role is ideal for motivated professionals committed to delivering high-quality civil engineering projects while advancing their expertise within a supportive environment.

Pay: £300.00-£400.00 per day
