Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting the organisation in delivering competitive bids. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our company's growth and success. The ideal applicant will possess experience in cost control and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.

ey Responsibilities

Review tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and scope of works.
Carry out detailed quantity take-offs for drylining and associated works.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tender submissions.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Assess labour, material, plant, and preliminaries requirements.
Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions.
Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams during tender processes.
Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings where required.
Maintain and update estimating databases, rates, and cost libraries.
Assist with handovers to the commercial and operational teams upon successful award.
Monitor market rates and industry trends to ensure competitiveness.
Ensure all estimates comply with company procedures and commercial objectives.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as an Estimator within the drylining/interiors sector.
Strong knowledge of:
Drylining systems
Suspended ceilings
Metal partitions
SFS framing
Plastering and associated finishes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
