We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Senior Audiologist to join our Paediatric Audiology service.
This role is primarily paediatric focused, providing diagnostic assessments, hearing aid interventions and family centred management for children aged 0 months to 18 years. You will work as part of a skilled and supportive team, contributing to service development and providing supervision for junior colleagues where appropriate.

Main duties include

- BSc (Hons) Audiology or equivalent qualification
- Registration with HCPC or AHCS
- Evidence of CPD and reflective practice
- HTS qualification
- MSc in Audiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Leadership/management qualification
- Membership of BAA and/or BSA
- Minimum 2 years' postgraduate NHS Audiology experience including paediatrics
- Ability to independently perform a comprehensive range of paediatric assessments (6 months+)
- Experience in fitting and verifying hearing aids for paediatric population
- Experience supervising junior staff
- Project management involvement
- Contribution to audit or research
- Experience of MDT working
- Experience with line management responsibilities
- Experience in healthcare governance
- Training/experience in complex assessments such as ABR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, families and colleagues
