Full job description

Overview

Carlton Mays are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading Wealth Management providers to appoint a trainee / Junior Receptionist / Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity to take your first steps into Financial Services where you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

This role is based in Weybridge for three days per week and London for two days per week so you must be able to accommodate that

Responsibilities

Greet visitors warmly, direct them appropriately, and manage visitor sign-in procedures to ensure safety and professionalism
Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the relevant departments or personnel
Manage front desk duties including handling mail, deliveries, and scheduling appointments to maintain an organized workspace
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications
Assist with general administrative duties
Support team members with clerical tasks including typing correspondence, updating and manipulating databases

Experience

Previous experience is not required however will be an advantage
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

About you

You will be a well presented, well spoken and confident individual at ease speaking to people from a variety of backgrounds

A willingness to learn and contribute to the overall success of the team

This role combines both reception duties and administration duties, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate familiarity with MS software, particularly Word and Excel
