Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bar - Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a longstanding business, ensuring high standards of food safety, service quality, and team performance.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing all aspects of the bar and restaurant environment. Bar is Based in a rural setting and would be best suited to individuals in the local area.

Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Staff Rota and entertainment bookings.
Lead and manage staff including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Excellent communicator with proven ability to direct staff to provide a warm fiendly atmosphere.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all departments.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee stock control to minimise waste.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment in accordance with health & safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a bar with experience of managing a team.
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff.
Knowledge of kitchen operations; experience in food production is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Good understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality environments.
